GUIDE
Resources
Everything you need to apply, showcase, and grow with Undeniable Bajinya.
For Designers
- How to apply. Submit your collection through our designer application form with 8 to 15 look images, a short bio, and your atelier’s city.
- What we look for. A distinct point of view, considered construction, and work that honors African and diaspora craft traditions while pushing them forward.
- Submission tips. Lead with your strongest three looks, send high-resolution images on a clean background, and include sketches or process shots if you have them.
- After you’re in. Our team handles photography direction, listing copy, and fulfillment logistics so you can keep your focus at the worktable.
For Models
- How to apply. Use the Models application to share measurements, three recent photos (one full body, one headshot, one natural), and your social handles.
- What to expect. Selected models are booked for editorial shoots, runway activations, and campaign content on a per-project basis, with clear call sheets in advance.
- Portfolio tips. Favor natural light, minimal makeup, and neutral backdrops. We want to see you, not a filter, so skip heavy retouching.
- On set. Arrive with clean skin, nude undergarments, and an open mind. We move fast, we move kindly, and we always credit your work.
FAQs
- Do I need an agent to apply? No. We welcome direct applications from independent designers and models at every stage of their career.
- Is there a submission fee? Never. Applying to Undeniable Bajinya is always free.
- How long until I hear back? Our team reviews every application within two to three weeks. If we need more time, we’ll tell you.
- Where are you based? Our studio operates out of New York, but our designers and models work from cities across Africa, Europe, and the Americas.
- Can I reapply if I’m not selected? Yes. We encourage reapplying after six months with new work, especially if your practice has evolved.
- Who owns the rights to my work? You do. We license imagery for editorial and campaign use; designers retain full ownership of their designs.
